As others have said, the Pendragon is a game changer on the river. Blazing sun or drenching downpour, any and all underneath will be happy to have this exceptional piece of kit.
Matt and his team are always upgrading and innoviatng their products, the customer service is unmatched and having had one for several years of river trips and backyard BBQs, it's become one of the essential pieces of equipment in my quiver.
Thanks again to everyone at Dragon Fly, you rock.

The build construction is superb, Matt is always upgrading and innovating his product and if something breaks, it will be repaired or replaced without hassle.
Be warned, the Pendragon is large and when the wind kicks up, there is a ton of force pulling on it. I have found the best way to secure it in weather conditions is burying deadman anchors and/or tying off the straps to a large rock or tree.
Thanks again to Matt and the team at Dragon Fly. You guys rock.
Top quality tarp, straps, and stakes! I like the option of using oars vs the pole kits. Creates great shade, and is shelter from rain. Be careful in the wind (can pull the stakes out of the ground and poles fall over). Very pleased with the product and service!
This is the last tarp you will ever need. Companies customer service is amazing. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them.
Dragon Fly Team,
I wanted to take a second to send a note to let you know how much I love your product. I bought the Pendragon Tarp with Carbon fiber poles last year. Due to its size, we jokingly call it the wedding tent.
We did a late season trip on the Grande Ronde right after I received it. It poured rain two evenings. The guys on the trip said this tarp saved the trip for them. Last week, we did a family camping trip in Island Park. On Saturday and Sunday it rained a lot as you probably experienced. I setup the tarp over one of the campsites and we played games like it was no big deal. My wife, who was a little skeptical about me purchasing this tarp, said it was totally worth it and it saved two days of the trip.
We drove home through Arco on Tuesday and I saw your shop. I should have stopped to say thank you in person; but this will have to do.
I’m headed out on a Hells Canyon trip next week. I’ll have this tarp with me.
Thank you,
Brent Frame
